Harvest Moon Sound Bath

Before electric light, the Harvest Moon meant something practical. It's the full moon that lands closest to the equinox, and for a few nights running it rises only minutes later each evening instead of the usual hour — enough extra light that farmers could keep working past dark to bring the last of the crop in before frost. It's the moon of finishing what the season started.

This year it falls on September 26th, and we're going to sit under it together instead of working through it.

You'll arrive at the Holistic Energy Center as the light fails and the moon comes up somewhere close to full — mat down, blanket ready, nothing expected of you. We'll open with a short guided meditation to slow the breath and quiet the thinking mind. Then the instruments begin.
